Benefits
The scholarship consists of a one-year Master’s Degree at Tsinghua University in Beijing – one of China’s most prestigious universities. It includes tuition and fees, room and board, travel to and from Beijing at the beginning and end of the academic year, an in-country study tour, required course books and supplies, health insurance, and a personal stipend of $4,000.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be holders of an Undergraduate degree or first degree from an accredited college or university or its equivalent.
- Have completed an undergraduate degree programs before August 1st
- Be at least 18 but not yet 29 years of age as of August 1st
- Demonstrate strong English language skills, as all teaching will be conducted in English.
Application
The application consists of two steps: an online application and evaluation as well as in-person regional interview.
The application period for U.S and Global applicants is open between April 2019 and September 2019. The application will close at 11:59PM EDT on Thursday, September 26 for the class that will arrive in Beijing in August 2020.
Selections will be made in November 2019.
