Germany’s higher education system has something for everyone! There are almost 450 state-accredited universities with some 17,500 degree programs in Germany.
When you have been accepted at a German University, it is important to apply for your visa at least 3 months prior to your departure to Germany. Please present the original and copies of the documents below:
- Completed application form
- Valid Passport
- 2 photographs
- Letter of Admission
- Transcript of academic record
- Proof that you have sufficient funds to support yourself while living in Germany
- Declaration of authenticity of documents submitted
In addition, applicants need to ensure that they have proper insurance and pay a non-refundable fee of 60 Euros.
COST OF LIVING
Students normally don’t have to pay tuition fees at German universities, and if so, the fees are very low. Compared with other European countries, the cost of living in Germany is reasonable.
