You will be exposed to accounting standards, auditing guidelines as well as accounting for decision making. This will enable graduates to be fully involved at senior level of an organization to work as financial accountants, management accountants or even consultants. In the first year you will be exposed to managerial and basic accounting skills. The second year builds on the knowledge acquired to expose the students to more advanced concepts in accounting, auditing and the legal environment. In the final year, more emphasis is laid on the importance of strategic control concepts and enhancing analytical skills. There is also an opportunity to undertake a work placement within the industry.
EITHER Pass in: 3 subjects at A-level and 1 subject at subsidiary level at Higher School Certificate Examination OR Pass in: 2 subjects at A-level and 2 subjects at subsidiary level at Higher School Certificate Examination OR Pass in: 3 subjects at A-level at the London General Certificate Examination
