It is expected that the demand for graduates with maintenance skills will grow rapidly in the coming years and decades as existing structures get old. However, as modern management of civil engineering structures includes regular inspections, checkups and evaluations of the structures for both curative and preventive maintenance, these specialised professionals of maintenance will be necessary to maintain the state of the structures while assuring security of properties, people and environment and conforming to laws and standards. Graduates may obtain employment as Maintenance Manager/Officer or Chief Maintenance Technician in private, parastatal and government bodies.

A recognised Diploma in Building / Civil Engineering. Candidates who may not have the required academic background but who have appropriate work experience are encouraged to apply.
