INFORMATION

The aim of this program is to provide students with an extensive knowledge of new digital technologies and multimedia. These studies are increasingly being adopted in the areas of traditional media and communication, for example, digital multimedia in audio-visual and multimedia applications in education..

CAREER PROSPECTS

It is expected that the demand for graduates with multimedia skills will grow rapidly in the coming years. Graduates will obtain employment as multimedia specialists not only in the ICT sector but also in other sectors such as banking and financial services, marketing, education and advertising. Graduates have a wide range of careers open to them. They can find employment as web designer/developer, graphics designer, multimedia designer (2D and 3D), software developer/programmer, IT support/Helpdesk, on-line publishing – editorial/design and game developer.

EITHER Pass in: 3 subjects at A-level and 1 subject at subsidiary level at Higher School Certificate Examination OR Pass in: 2 subjects at A-level and 2 subjects at subsidiary level at Higher School Certificate Examination OR Pass in: 3 subjects at A-level at the London General Certificate Examination   OR Equivalent pre-University qualificationsCandidates having a Diploma in Software Engineering or Applied Computer Science or any other acceptable Diploma in Information and Communication Technology can join the third Year of this programme.
