COURSE OVERVIEW


The inclusion of an industrial placement prepares candidates for working careers in computing and sets their academic studies into the context of the variety of computer applications.

CAREER PROSPECTS

Graduates have a wide range of careers open to them. They can find employment as software engineers, network analysts, web developers and analyst programmers, database administrators and educators. Further study routes are also possible for those who wish to do a Masters and also those who wish to conduct research into specific areas of Computer Science.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS


EITHER Pass in: 3 subjects at A-level and 1 subject at subsidiary level at Higher School Certificate Examination OR Pass in: 2 subjects at A-level and 2 subjects at subsidiary level at Higher School Certificate Examination OR Pass in: 3 subjects at A-level at the London General Certificate Examination   OR Equivalent pre-University qualifications Candidates having a Diploma in Software Engineering or Applied Computer Science or any other acceptable Diploma in Information and Communication Technology can join the third Year of this programme.
