CLBS is a post-secondary education provider licensed by both the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) and the Mauritius Qualification Authority (MQA) which are the two education regulators in Mauritius. This testifies that CLBS has in place the necessary quality assurance & academic standards to provide students with education that are of international standards.
CLBS has partnered with leading British educational institutions to provide students with the qualifications that enjoy international recognition. Our educational partners are the University of London International Programme, the University of Northumbria, the Central Law Training International and the International Training Agency.
Our core undergraduate academic offering is the LLB Hons Programme offered by the University of London International Programme and the University of Northumbria.
Since its formation in 1858 the University of London International Programmes has enriched the lives of thousands of students across the globe. It has become a global leader in distance and flexible study, with more than 54,000 students in over 180 countries. Former students of the University of London and alumni have helped shape the world. Not only have they overcome many personal obstacles to study, but they have also won Nobel prizes, governed countries and written great works of literature. CLBS is the first educational institution in Mauritius to have achieved the status of a “Registered Centre” of the University of London International LLB Hons Programme. Registered Centres are those centres that have demonstrated high standards in respect of teaching, support to students and administrative processes.
CLBS is also a recognized Distance Learning Support Centre for the University of Northumbria in Mauritius for its LLB Hons Open Learning Course. Although all Northumbria distance (open) learning programmes are designed and approved as self – contained learning processes, often students find it beneficial to have access to local support in addition to the programme support provided by Northumbria University.
CLBS also provides a range of short business and CPD courses targeted at the financial sector.
