An information systems specialist analyses and maps out an organisation’s business processes to work out how best to optimize its operations. They design, deliver, test and implement IT systems and provide desktop or network support to staff.
This major focuses on how information technology is used to collect, process and output information in organisations. It provides an in-depth knowledge of computer programming and design, as well as systems implementation and management. You will gain an introduction to programming and design, systems implementation, and IT management.
