Course Overview

Many of us experience crime at some point in our lives, and it is often the focus of public debate and news stories. The presence of crime in our daily lives leads to questions such as how should society deal with criminals? What causes criminal behaviour? How can crime be prevented? If you want to explore these questions further, then this distance learning course is for you.

Our Criminal Justice degree allows you to gain a better understanding of the causes, consequences and prevention of crime from social, legal, political and personal perspectives. Through exploring criminal behaviour and how it’s controlled within society, you will gain a sound understanding of the relationship between criminal justice and social justice.
